Chairman’s Message - 2018

I am always pleased to write about our Association. It has maintained a high level of support in both our club meetings and our outings. The happy chattering atmosphere at our afternoon meetings always means newcomers find it easy to join us.

My thanks go to your committee for covering every aspect of what we need to keep our club alive, and we truly welcome your input.

Our outings have been very successful and mostly with good weather, which always help. The visit to Hampton Court was a stunning day with fantastic weather. The Medway Boat trip with our fish and chip lunch was very successful. Even our visit to Lingfield Races was great, and some members actually came home showing a profit.

The holiday to Bournemouth was also very enjoyable with days out to Beulieu, including Buckler’s Hard with a boat trip, and Longleat with so many animals to see.

Please take a good look at the 2019 programme and we hope you will find something to interest you.

We do appreciate your support with all we do, and hope you will find our programme enjoyable.

I wish everyone good health, and a wonderful New Year.

Yours sincerely
