JULY 2025 NEWSLETTER

Welcome to the July Newsletter.

We hope that you will find our lists of events , to be found on the events calendar of the Colchester Branch, of interest to you. We will be delighted to welcome you to our meetings, no matter how long you have worked for Sainsbury's.

You will notice that we have no day trips anymore as we found that the number of people wishing to go on them had declined to such a point that they were financially unviable. However there is a huge demand for our tickets to "Guys and Dolls" at the Mercury Theatre in February. Clearly this is the direction that we will be focusing on for any future trips. For those that don't know, we sadly lost our trip organiser, Jane Ingate, in April after a long illness. the committee and group miss her greatly

This year our Christmas Lunch will be at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Marks Tey on Wednesday 3rd December. Please arrive from 12.15 with the meal to start at 1pm. There are a variety of buses that stop nearby or you can park at the car park.  There is a car park charge of £5 which you will pay when you register  your car number plate at reception. To recompense you for this cost we will giver you £5's worth of raffle tickets.
